As one of the biggest supporters of Windows Phone 7 it’s easy to forget that HTC are also one of the top Android manufacturers. With the Desire HD and Desire Z about to launch and give Android users two new high-end models to play with it’s been a while since HTC released a model for those with smaller budgets.
While the pricing of the HTC Gratia hasn’t been officially announced the specifications suggest that this will be HTC’s latest budget offering. With a 600Mhz processor, Android 2.2, 3.2″ touchscreen, optical trackball and a microSD slot the Gratia isn’t quite cutting edge but nor is it completely off of the pace.
So far the Gratia has been revealed in black, white and green colour schemes which gives users a decent chance of getting a Gratia that will suit their tastes. While we don’t know what it’ll cost yet it’s expected that the Gratia will be cheap enough to be widely available on PAYG tariffs. Just remember to recycle your old mobile if you like the look of the Gratia enough to pick one up!
